Xcrol hosts community discussion around Baoism, travel, literature, and the pursuit of personal freedom. The name is pronounced “Scroll.” Founded by CD Damitio as a working answer to the surveillance-capitalism internet — the same question his novel Petshitter: A Silicon Valley Romance asks from the fiction side.
W3WU.com — Collaborative Worldbuilding Platform
Worlds Unlimited. An AI-powered worldbuilding substrate for serious storytellers. Convert manuscripts into structured, queryable wikis. Collaborate with customizable governance — open, curated, or paid access. Worlds here are living spaces meant to be used, extended, and inhabited. Participation is creation. A platform where writers contribute paragraphs to shared novels. A platform where anyone can create and share guides on any topic. Originally conceived as a GPS-based automated tour guide app (co-founded in Hawaii, 2018), ZguideZ evolved into a broader knowledge-sharing platform. No editorial barriers — create guides freely, share expertise, help others navigate the world. Built from CD’s experience in the tour industry and travel tech.
Legacy & Foundational Projects
Bondr.app — Social Network (Precursor to Xcrol)
The original privacy-first social networking project that evolved into Xcrol.com. Bondr explored the same core question — what does a social network look like when it is not built to harvest your attention and sell it? The lessons from Bondr directly informed Xcrol’s architecture and philosophy.
Iwahai — Voice Map App (Precursor to VoiceMarkr)
The original voice-on-a-map app CD built in Hawaii. The name is all the letters of Hawaii rearranged. Iwahai let users put voice recordings on a map — simple, revolutionary, and free. Designed by a traveler for travelers. The concept evolved into VoiceMarkr with updated technology and broader reach. The Iwahai story is told in CD’s memoir Not My America.
Hawaii Tiki Group, LLC
The business entity behind CD’s Hawaii-era startup projects (Iwahai, ZguideZ, early travel tech). Founded during CD’s time living in Honolulu when he was building tour automation technology and voice-location apps.
Satoshi Manor — Otaru, Japan
CD’s home in Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan. The base of operations for writing, worldbuilding, and the broader Indignified Labs ecosystem. Named after Satoshi Nakamoto. Featured as a location in CD’s fiction (notably The Road to Wakkanai). Adjacent to Bao-House, the second Otaru property designated for the AiRBEB artist residency program.
